27 Aug NQ Advance Coaches Practical Course
The Advanced Coaching course is the fourth step in the Netball Australia coaching accreditation framework. It is aimed at coaches who are looking to extend their learning towards coaching for higher level representative competition. The course takes place over two (2) full days. Participants must also complete a Game Analysis Workshop (Part C), as well as an online Select for Success Course through Netball Learning.
Part A is the theory. Part B is the practical. Part B occurs in 2 x 3 hour sessions, one on each day of the course. Part A occurs on both days and is all the theory elements.
Part A and Part B are included in this cost.
Part C occurs on a separate day and is the Game Analysis Workshop. This requires a separate payment of $40.
To receive the Advanced Accreditation, participants are also required to complete to a satisfactory level a number of assignments. In addition, practical assessment of a one (1) hour coaching session occurs after completing Part A, Part B and Part C, as well as the online course and the assignments.
What are the requirements of the course?
- Current financial member of Netball Queensland
- Must hold Intermediate Coach Accreditation or recognition of current coaching competency at this level
- Full attendance on both days
What should I bring on the day?
- Copy of the Participant Workbook, Communication Workbook, Player Wellbeing Workbook, and Psychology Workbook (these can be downloaded from Netball Learning)
- Water bottle, snacks, and lunch
- Comfortable clothing for practical coaching on both days
- Coaching notebook and writing materials
