26 Aug INAS Global Games Closing Ceremony at Queensland State Netball Centre on Saturday October 19 at 5pm.
The INAS Global Games Brisbane 2019 will conclude at the Queensland State Netball Centre (QSNC) on Saturday October 19 at 5pm with a very international flavour Closing Ceremony after seven days of high intensity competition.
The Closing Ceremony will start at 6pm following the much anticipated Finals of the Men’s and Women’s Basketball which will run from 10am.
The Closing Ceremony will be a climactic ending to nearly 400 hours of competition with almost 1000 athletes from 60 countries having competed in 10 official sports in eight world class venues including the newly minted State Netball Centre.
The INAS Global Games is a world class sporting competition for elite athletes with an intellectual impairment that represents the peak of sporting achievement.
The Marie Little Shield, the National Championships for female netballers with an intellectual impairment which is run annually, will this year be played at the QSNC as an INAS Global Games demonstration sport.
