Naming rights opportunity – home of the Queensland Firebirds set for new chapter in 2026.

Netball Queensland is excited to announce a rare and unique opportunity to secure the venue naming rights for the Queensland State Netball Centre – the home of netball in Queensland.

Based at Queensland Sport and Athletic Centre in Nathan, just 12 minutes from the Brisbane CBD, the venue features eight indoor hard courts, including a 5,000 seat show court, a gymnasium and high-performance training facilities.

It has been known as Nissan Arena since 2019, and is now looking for a new name, with a new partnership term from 1 January 2026.

Since opening in 2019, the venue has welcomed over two million visitors, including a record-breaking 428,000 in 2024 alone, making it one of the top five most frequented standalone Stadiums Queensland venues in the state.

The venue proudly hosts the Queensland Firebirds of the Suncorp Super Netball league, alongside a diverse range of national, state, and community events. In under seven years, the venue has staged more than 150 major sporting events, with many broadcasted nationally and internationally.

In 2025 this versatile venue will also host varied events from world championship boxing, ANZ Premier League darts, school graduations, Australian Collectables Show, wheelchair AFL and martial arts competitions.

This is a truly unique opportunity to align your brand with a dynamic, high-profile venue at the heart of south-east Queensland’s sporting and entertainment landscape leading into the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games.

Interested parties are encouraged to contact Netball Queensland for further information with an expression of interest form available here. The invitation for submissions will be open until 30 May 2025 with a partnership announcement expected at the end of July.
